Hi folks. I am an engineer at WKYC, and I just wanted to thank Chuck for being so kind to me when I was a teenager back in the 60s. He allowed me to hang around at the old TV8 building during the Big Chuck and Hoolihan days. Great times! Bob

Just wanted to say that my friends and I had a GREAT time at Ghoulardifest IV! You guys do a fantastic job and I'm so glad to see that this might become a regular annual event! We made the 'pilgrimage' down from Jamestown, NY, and would do it again in a heartbeat. Only one small suggestion...for your next Video Competition, I would suggest that you have a set of impartial judges choose their favorite Video Entry. It seemed rather unfair this year - seeing as how whoever had the most friends and family on hand for the judging was obviously able to achieve the most applause. Not that I didn't enjoy the videos that won the competition - I just think a more impartial way of selecting the winners should be sought out. THANKS!

To all the Purple Knifs: It's been nearly 40 years and the subject of Ghoulardi STILL comes up. I'm out of state now and actually work with a couple people who lived in and around Cleveland AND remember Ghoulardi. Not only the show, but I remember drinking Ghoulardi SHAKES at the BIG BOY ! ! ! When I was in Cleveland about 12 years ago I came across a shirt shop on E. 185 -- next to the ice cream stand -- that had Ghoulardi t-shirts. Got 'em for my whole family and a few folks back at the office ! ! ! Talk about a "blast from the past" -- they were knocked out ! ! ! Hope the fest is a success and it sounds like it will be. Didn't know they actually took place. Too late to come this year, but hopefully I'll make it to the GF V . . . Turn Blue . . . and Stay Stiff ! ! ! Viki

Really wish I could be back in OH to attend the Ghoulardifest - I will always have fond memories of a childhood in Akron, and watching Ghoulardi on hot summer nights with my brother while we waited for mom to get home from her job as a waitress at Northfield Park. Wonderful days!
